National Grid 5k Information

Kick off Rhode Races weekend with the 2013 National Grid 5k held at Roger Williams Park on Saturday, May 11.

The National Grid 5k course is a scenic run through Roger Williams Park. The run moves around winding turns and up and down rolling hills while circling around F C Green Memorial Blvd. The tree lined course follows the edge of a large pond before finishing at the Carousel. Please arrive early for the race start as the park road will be closed at the race start.

The course is USATF certified.

The 2013 National Grid 5k will start at 9:00 on Saturday, May 11.

Course Limits

The National Grid 5k Course will be secured for one hour. After one hour all participants are expected to adhere to all Rhode Island traffic laws.

Packet Pick Up

5k participants can either pick up their bib at the expo on Friday, May 10, or at Roger Williams Park at the Carousel, starting an hour and half before the race start on Saturday.
